How to Identify Recycled Products

You recycle your used packaging so that it can be made into new packaging and other useful products. But how can you identify those newly made products so that you can purchase them and therefore help complete the recycling loop?

As you shop, check the labels of products to look for terms like “made with recycled content”, “made with recycled plastic” or “made with post-consumer content.” Recycled products are becoming more readily available as companies aim for sustainable products and packaging. Once you start checking labels, you might be surprised how many recycled items you find, whether it’s carbonated beverage bottles, shampoo bottles, detergent bottles, clothing, and so much more.
